| In agreement with eddiedry - we are facing record demand for a crop that is fast deteriorating. Growers who made good yields last year, but lost their ass on drying expense are going to think twice before planting corn into wet conditions on June 1st. I'm still hopeful for an easy planting seaon, but I can say the flat black grower in Illinois is not committing to as much corn as last year & with a wet spring, you'll see less people pushing it to get the corn in. If demand holds on, you can expect very tight supplies come Summer 2011. | |
