They tested mine before surgery my A1C was 5.1. My blood sugars normally run around 100. Give or take 10 points either direction. Problem I have is some doc placed on my blood work that I was diabetic. Now when they ask I say what’s my A1C. But for life of me I ask them to remove the diabetic part and it never gets done. And then ins company looks at it and rates me from that.
What is the ideal A1c for a diabetic?
