Why would mixing seed with fertilizer in a fertilizer spreader be any different than just spreading fertilizer alone? Can't say I've ever seen a co-op or even a farmer wash his fertilizer spreader every night.
You weren't there, but most of our customers preferred the seed and fertilizer put on that way.
If we didn't wash the machines every night, they got choked up with fertilizer in no time.
We had the pneumatic Terragators, not the spinners.
