Not a problem, just have to forget the menu. McDonald's will gladly serve you nothing but 2# of beef patties.

But yes, I prefer sit down restaurants and just order a good steak. Expensive, but the long term savings outweigh the cost.

Or order a hamburger (or 3) without a bun. Most places seem to be familiar with this request and send extra lettuce to replace the bun. Not a bad way to go.
