Central Iowa | Pulled the plug on fall anhydrous, too dry anyway. Put it on next spring as I have for years except last year. Cancelled my normal 100lbs of potash on corn stalks for beans next year. Always planted Pioneer seed corn but it fell on its face this year so will do some shopping for next year. Trying not to borrow any more money at 9.25 % also. I'm in the twilight of farming so try to maintain and leave something for son to build off of. Sad state of affairs farm wise prices for sure. | |
