How are you going to approach the purchases of inputs for 2025? It has crossed my mind to go at it with the frugality of a homeless guy. Buy only the cheapest seed (within reason) use lowest amount of nitrogen, on my own ground I'm pausing on building fertility, just tryingto maintain. And clear out any left over herbicides that I have been building up over the last 2 years. I was about to cancel my fall tillage (go 100% notill), but that diesel has already been bought. Thoughts? I'm not really motivated to try to raise a bumper crop, I'm thinking of trying to send some of the pain on down the supply chain, since I'm about working for free this year. | |
