(ask me if I think now I should have taken the last 1% off!!!!!) All that moulding had been stripped in the past, so we just had to put it back up. I had a guy cut new trim and rosettes for the new construction. I was able to do a lot of that, too. We were able to correct studs, joists and insulation when the plaster was off. Basement was a poured in place way back when after the house was built. Boy, did it let in the water! I love having a dry, clean basement! 9' walls, I'd highly recommend that to anyone building new.
Sounds like you don't need a lot of space, then. I rented a camper for the summer to live in since the house unliveable. |
