nc north dakota | In my area, the pea prices have gone from 6-7 dollars a bushel last year with easy delivery, to now of a price of 3.75-4.25. And that is if you can find a processor or elevator that wants to take delivery. Is this all just due to india having a good crop? Does canada have plenty of yellows in the bins? Where can i find or subscribe to a good source of info for this crop?
I am considering switching a field that i intended to seed to yellow peas to soybeans as i am still holding (unwillingly) 90% of 09' pea crop.
