The unit in the picture is 4ft long, 8 in diameter and approximately 70 lbs. It is installed in a utility room at a 240 cow dairy. This unit was installed in April, 6 months ago. This farmer had been looking at peroxide systems to help clear up his algae/ bio film issues on his dairy which was causing reduced water intake by his cows. He heard of IQ through word of mouth as an alternative to peroxide. This farmer was able to install an IQ system for less than a peroxide system and also will never incur the costs of the monthly chemicals and maintenance. Additionally, since installation this farmer has seen increase in milk production, a reduction in GLDH, increase in cow rumination, increase in overall heard health and reduction in death loss.
If farmers are happy with their current water systems, that is great. However, I am trying to offer farmers another alternative to their water issues.
