folks just told me recently when I asked the same question, wipe it out if you have stuck stuff on it put water on it heat till its loose then wipe dry, been putting mine in the oven when done so it stays sort of warm wife is haveing a fit cause she forgets to take it out when she preheats oven and then its hot and in the way!! LOL Bob
