swmn/soin | My first exposure to Monte was at a meeting in Davenport, Iowa in 1983. Took all the classes I could when he was anywhere close. And yes...."Oatis" was his buddy.
I still have all the notes I took at his classes and seminars. He lived hard and fast....but died at a fairly young age, I`m not sure, but don`t think he made it out of his forties. he was originally from Mallard, Iowa if my memory serves me correctly. | |
