I saw a lady on a FB community page ask how to get rid of voles/field mice in her yard.

Another lady told her to use a mix of essential oils and spices with the logic that they'll leave [pass the problem to a neighbor's yard?] and poison will kill cats, birds, or whatever.  Her next suggestion is to pay hundreds for an exterminator that will trap and relocate them!
