Without a thermostat, I had a pickup not supply heat to the cab. The restriction of the thermostat pushed coolant to the cab. I believe there was something else going on with the cooling system besides me being cold in the winter, but I can’t recall. I always run a thermostat now.
If I have a questionable thermostat/cooling system I’ll drill some holes in it. 855 low flow…. Cough cough…..
