Subject: Oh, the joys of internet "mechanics" giving advice


A guy is wanting to put a lower temp thermostat in his motor - going from a 210 degree to a 185.  Another Guy with "30 years as a mechanic" is telling him (very confidently) that that will cause his motor to run hotter because " the coolant in the radiator won't have time to cool off before flowing back to the motor" thus causing it to overheat.
