Irans supreme leader stated “Death to America is not a slogan, it’s a policy”. They want us eliminated just as bad as the Jews. The door is wide open RiGHT NOW to stop that type of rhetoric in its tracks. It’s inevitable at some point in the future anyway, might as well deal with it when nukes aren’t an option. A strong show of American might here will also send a signal to other bad actors that wish us harm to stay on their own side of the fence. Peace through strength. Weakness gets you invaded.


I spent 4.5 years in the military, how many did you do.

Send your kids to the Middle East. Hasn’t worked out so far.
I spent grand total of zero days in the military. And if my kids/grandkids have to fight a bully, I’d much prefer that bully be little instead of big. Plain and simple. And it hasn’t worked so far because of weakness. While I have my misgivings about Trump, he demonstrated strength that other nations didn’t want to mess with. I have zero doubt if Trump were in office yesterday, none of these events that took place would have happened nor this thread. Strong leaders rarely have to commit troops.
