Iowa - Floyd County | Probably not. The "better" half of the county got more rain later in the season so there will probably be record yields there. I just farm dirt that requires rain on a regular basis through the whole growing season to make a really great crop. A friend of mine lives in SW Iowa and they are seeing their best yields ever, and not by a little bit either. I'm not trying to be a "crop killer", there's obviously some very good yields out there but this is the third year in a row for my immediate area to have below normal crops due to lack of moisture and I can only say what I'm seeing "here". As another poster said, I'm in an I state so that can't happen here****** | |
