What kind of yields was your corn appraised at?

I have a friend who is a crop adjuster covering SD, ND, IA and MN. We were visiting last week, and I asked him what he was seeing. Corn all over the board depending on locations, but in his opinion, not a great corn crop, just a good one. Lots of variability based on soils in the field and where you lived and received rains.

Beans are similar. Some phenomenal yields randomly, but most at or below APH. Well tiled fields are seemingly doing the best. I have seen 10-15 bu difference between my fields that are well tiled and ones that need more tile that are same soils and across the road from one another. Hearing that fungicide and insecticide applications are giving guys a 5-10 bu boost this year.

Corn is drying/dying fast and hearing some 16%-20% corn already for stuff planted early. Will probably have a few fields to hit later this week/weekend.

Still believe we take the under on corn for USDA/Stone X. Beans, well we might hit that depending on yields up north. I am better than the posted yield, but still 5-10 bu below APH on most of my fields.
