Had a 7 speed in a 90s fire truck and it was the worst shifting thing I have ever driven. Double clutch and hit just the right RPM you were alright. Miss it by just a little and you were in trouble. I could float it going up most of the time but coming back down you had to drive it like you were mad at the world.
