Subject: Did anyone see the consumer confidence number?

Mascoutah, Illinois
Did anyone happen to see the consumer confidence number released today? It was at its lowest level since April of 2009. My "conspiracy theory" mind believes this number was sandbagged to try and keep inflation concerns dampened and interest rates low. JUST MY OPINION.

I heard a great one-liner yesterday by Brian Kelly. "If you believe we are headed for a double dip recession, your portfolio should be 95% gold and 5% canned goods." It was extremely funny at the time. However, after today's events with consumer confidence and more turmoil out of Greece, it isn't so funny now.
