You want a deer hunting challenge get yourself a spear or sharpened stick and have at it. When we talk Hunting around here I usually remind the guys we don't Hunt deer, we shoot deer from a heated shack like fish in a barrel. Very little skill or ability involved in modern day hunting. Guys are always telling me I need to "upgrade" my 12 guage sabot shooting H&R single shot to a 450 or 350. Uh, ok not lol. I know what you mean though. Sometimes I carry my 20 guage single shot youth Savage bird gun with a rifled slug and a bead sight to feel like it's a bit more of a challenge. And it only weighs about 4 pounds and the H&R with scope and sling is about 11 pounds ugg!
