Hanby Mill, AL | I’m a STO who started row crop farming from expanding a hunting operation. Started planting for wildlife and now farm for high yield. I plant about 400 acres of a 2000 ac property, the balance is managed pine timber. Currently do my own spraying with a small self propelled sprayer. I can do everything but fungicide on corn - usually 150-200 acres. I am curious if there is a small, multi purpose drone that can do everything? Scout crop, infrared camera for surveying wildlife, spraying fungicides…. Is there such a drone available? I’ve looked at the larger models but I don’t need a large payload capability or outstanding optics, just something that more resembles a Swiss pocket knife. I have no plans to get rid of my self propelled sprayer- if I have to choose, I’ll get a drone for scouting crop and wildlife, and keep spraying with what I’ve got but I would rather be able to spray fungicide. Such a drone available? Thanks | |
