Even if you could wouldn’t the bin split from them swelling?

Not critiquing just questioning if anyone on NAT has had a bin split?

To the OP we have cut plenty of 8% soybeans this year and very dry soybeans in the years past
we put soybeans in 30' to 48' bins almost every year we are selling 11-13.5%
At times 13.5 or 14% first loads from the top of bins
We start harvesting early in the day --so we're adding higher moisture soybeans every day
no century pack but run fans over night into foggy mornings ---10-20 times
down side I've seen is the 23 crop when hauled one 36' bin had a 3" layer of moldy soybeans at floor level

Our fans not as many CFM's per Bu as yours 20 and 25 HP centrifugal on 48' bins 10 HP on 30 and 36' bins
FWIW our 48' bins are taller but only fill about 25' of soybeans
we always fill the bins then pull out loads to "level out the bins somewhat" center pulled down

IMO hard to add moisture to corn much easier on soybeans

Your results may vary

Dan

Add just read Michigan State recommend pulling some soybeans out to alleviate worry of harming bins
