SE Iowa | Actually I don't think it could be a double dip, so much as a major move down. One that will make virtually everyone clean their shorts. And I said so (tank).
You paint a scenario where the US has troubles while the rest of the world recovers? Hmmm, the government debt bubble is everywhere (kind of like ChickenMan). I can't foresee any kind of situation where we are the only one in trouble.
BTW, there is no certainty in any of this. It may very well be that we recover and go on our rosy way. I just think the odds of that are rather remote.
We will see, won't we.
