17# ddg / bu 



I am not totally up on nutritional value of ddg vs strait corn but I think 17# of ddg when looking at protien and fiber much higher then corn. It has a higher feed value so more is coming back per pound I believe. Was told at meeting once many years ago 40-50% comes back as distillers from a nutrional standpoint. Maybe a animal nutritionist will be along to explain. Ethanol is more efficient then the average person realizes. Ddg’s plus as you mentioned other byproducts it’s not nearly as bad as it seems at first,
