Curious how you’re set for feed, north of the border things looked really good in Alberta and Sask and then heat and no rain and the wheels fell off the bus again. Not really any cow expansion going on yet for them, maybe next year. How is your area for feed? What will bred hfrs bring nov/dec ? Cow numbers up/down/sideways in your area?
Lotsa hay. Dry summer, grass turned and burned. But got about a seasons worth ahead. Bred heifers too hi for me. I’d say nobody’s expanding numbers @ these prices. Seems like calves still Weigh up in dry yrs. |
