I’m on our local ambulance and fire department and I gotta agree with Bob. You dwell on emergency response way too much and it could really take you down if you get into a bad scene. I’ve seen this before and it ultimately ends with quitting the service early or becoming so zealous you look forward to another call. You need to just settle down.
This is not an idiot response, just 25 years experience talking.
