The problem is that when you are niche marketing a commodity and turn customers away when the commodity market is high they are going to find a new supplier. They might like the new supplier and not come back when the niche vs commodity price is more favorable.
+1, true for any business where you are selling to a specific customer and have an on-going relationship, once the relationship is damaged it is hard to get it back. |
