Brown county MN | So last weekend we took a little road trip to meet our first agtalker in person. And came home with a few lambs.
Got connected to Dan7410 on this page and went to see him, trailer in tow. Dan and his wife are wonderful people, and it was a pleasure to meet them. We talked sheep and equipment for a lot longer than we'd planned. (Dan, I might steal that race idea someday)
Lovely rolling hill in that neighborhood perfect for pastures, and he's got some dandy Dorpers grazing on them, we were lucky enough to see a group of ewes in the jugs lambing and they looked great.
We picked out 16 ewe lambs to come home with us, very happy, and they've settled in well. Looking forward to seeing lambs out of them next year. Only planned on a dozen, but seeing the older ewes in the lambing jugs changed that plan. His picture's don't do those animals justice.
