Yes stalk quality will be poor. Ours lastvyear just beat the tar spot but the stalk quality was horrible. I thank the lord that we didn't have any wind per say that caused grief for harvest. You could walk through it a couple weeks after black layer and the stalks would just fall over where you touched them.
