NW Iowa | In Cedar Falls Iowa there was an arrangement where four trees were planted in a fairly close square. The four trees were later tied together so there was four trunks that grew into one tree. There was a walkway underneath. When I saw it over fifty years ago it was a decent sized tree by then. I have no idea if it is still standing today. It was just north of the college campus at the time. Have any of you eastern Iowans seen it? | |
