You place a lot of importance on the constitution. I do as well, but I’m not so blind to our current situation to say that it cannot be changed for the better.
It used to be interpreted to allow slavery until it was amended. Women weren’t allowed to vote………….. until the constitution was amended. Just to pick a couple of examples.
