Northern Nebraska | Russia has invaded nearly 40 countries in its history. Do you think every single time they were provoked? Since the fall of the Soviet union Russia has invaded Ukraine twice. Georgia once Belarus once and destroyed Chechnya.
If I was Ukraine I'd damn well be provoking Russia after the first invasion. At every turn. Russia is playing empire in a time of history where empires are certainly not welcome.
I don't give a crap about either country or spending money on a war that isn't ours, but I can certainly see why most people side with Ukraine.
