Scranton | Again, you are not reading what I wrote. I have NOT said FIRST frosts...I've said all along, EARLY frosts. Thus I tried to point out to you multiple times that I'm talking about those frosts in SEPTEMBER ONLY. Those writing the articles included ALL first frosts and I'm using their data to show my point...NOT ALL FIRST frosts, but the early ones that cause damage. You and Husker have been ....s about it and I'm tired of explaining it to you when you won't read what I write.
I'll reiterate one more time....this isn't about annual first frosts...its about the times that it comes in september (in our neck of the woods). When the first frosts come in october, the general temps have fallen so much that any night can get cold, as the days are shorter, the sun is weaker and the heat sink in the soil has dissipated.
