Matt's,, hang in there with doing what you can do. It's almost the end of Feburary sounds better than 'almost the end of December'.

I do wish 1/2 of the snow you have was in the mountains here.  Right now it's looking like we "might" get 45 percent of our normal allotment of water we have to buy.

Here we are acessed by the acre for water. NOT Paying the $45/acre acessment is NOT an option. However,, getting the water is an option. If there is not enough water we simply do not get the water.

Know your much farther north closer to the arctic circle,, but  the world is turning and the days here are getting longer.  We wouldn't want the world to turn too fast,, the water would spill out.

Stick with it Matt's  bad as it is,, sounds like you are doing your fair share taking care of your place and trying to help mother nature's animals too.
