There seems to always be good used trap guns like a BT99 for sale, and usually with adjustable stocks, etc.

The entry price might be higher than a low end gun, but if you resell it later, it will still be worth the same amount of money.

As noted, any shotgun will be able to shoot trap, but a higher quality one will survive the oodles of rounds that are put through them over the years. Heck, even a BT99 will need a tune up eventually.
