We raise vegetables in northwest ohio. Laugh all you want but we watch like a hawk for frost during full moons in September and October. It does seem to correlate. No wind and clear sky’s equal surprise
Same. I’m just north of Madison and the weather station registered 36F, but it’s 4ft in the air. Getting to farm after church soon. Hoping no frost, but it was dead calm, no clouds and bright moon.
The weatherman said the low was supposed to be 48F. Half the time I feel I can predict the weather better, at least in the fall. |
