Your outrage at the unnecessary deaths of American soldiers at the hands of any Commander in Chief is understandable and justified. I feel the same way. Where the train leaves the tracks is that you randomly throw this out there when discussing something that absolutely has nothing to do with the other thing. I think we should be equally outraged by both. Those of us who support the Second Amendment try to make the point that guns don’t kill people. People kill people and in far too many instances lack of parenting and sometimes sheer negligence on the part of the parent is to blame. Yes we can lock the troubled kid up for the rest of his life but we also need to take a very hard look at how their parents fit into his and hold them accountable. | |
