Supposedly after law enforcement visited a year ago the father told them that his guns were locked up and the son had no access but then he bought a gun as a birthday present to the son,,,,not sure if that was the one he used at the school.
No, that's wrong. The BBC is reporting he stated that " he does not have unsupervised access to them"

Regardless, we can't start charging parents for crimes their kids commit. Were does the line get drawn, if your 16 year old kills someone with a car you bought for yourself, are you now equally liable for that persons death? That's exactly what the Michigan parents, and now the guy in Georgia are being accused of. |
