Thank you for your input! One of my big concerns is the majority of hybrids in those trials are other regional brands. I don't like to be in a position of pitting us against each other, because I think there is room for all of us (I am very pro more independent seed companies!). When we set up our research trials, we use ...other... brands for comparisons, so I know we are competitive. We just can't publish that data.



You need to decide if you want to be in the seed business or not. Not entering something because some friends are also in it isn't going to help you with sales. You are a seed company nearly nobody has ever heard of. If you do well in the FIRST trials your phone might start to ring, if you do bad you are in the same spot as you are now since everyone assumes that's where you'd be anyway.
