I’m told that there is a “heavy duty” plastic culvert that has the crush strength more along the line of concrete. I think it’s for shallow cover.


I would be hesitant to have a galvanized culvert sit in water. The county guys say the galvanizing is not near as good as it was years ago. They culverts rust out much quicker now.
