Let me try this again. Along with the scheduled replacement of "culled" laying hens, there are 90 million laying hens that have died from bird flu so far in 2024;

When a flock (barn) of 300,000 cage free laying hens is depopulated because of bird flu, it takes 3 to 9 months to repopulate the flock (barn) of 300,000 laying hens depending on availability of pullets. And with a lot of luck the other seven barns on site won't be contaminated. And bird flu can/does infect replacement bird facilities.
