Surprised by the tin foil hats that responded.

The old time farmers lead a very physically active life.   I’m a firm believer if you want to be do good later in life stay active.  Grandfather milked daily to 76 and stayed active helping my uncle and I till his mid 90’s.   I got an uncle that’s 77 and been active all his life.   I’m 30 years younger and working or chasing cows I have to hustle to keep up.    I bet he’s better shape than some folks in their 30’s.   My mom’s 75 and walks every day it’s not slippery out and she does decent keeping up with her grandkids.    Not sure how well the current generation of farmers will do most are not nearly as active as previous generations.

Keeping active and in shape should be easier now than ever, but obesity levels keep going up across all walks of life.
