Morris, Mb.
We grow hybrid fall rye. It will out yield our winter wheat by a little bit. This year, ours was just shy of 100 bu/ac. We use about 3/4 fertilizer rate of wheat and do not spray any herbicide or fungicide. Price is a slight discount to winter wheat. Depending on where your marketing, falling number can be an issue in rye. Hybrids are better than the ops.
