East of Broken Bow
LL Bean Storm Chaser boots, the side zip if you put put them on/off frequently, the lace up if you put them on and off just once or twice. The zippers tend to wear out before the boots do, so the lace up ones have a longer ultimate life, but the zip up ones are so darn convenient.
I have plantar fasciitis and the storm chaser boots are one of the few I can wear all day. Even better comfort and support than the original Bean Boots.

If you want something taller, look to Kamik boots, they make several styles that are made in the USA or Canada. Any pair I have ever gotten from them that was Canadian or USA made have been comfortable and durable. I wear their Muck style boots doing chores. They are more comfortable than Mucks, more durable than Mucks, USA made, and not any more expensive than Mucks.
