It seems like an enormous amount of people do wood working in one form or another.  Often it seems like older guys that want to continue doing something but don't want to spend a large fortune on their hobby.  Something you don't have to travel a lot for, except to get tools, wood or some events.

I like being able to just walk out to my shop and start on a project, that's what I liked about weight lifting, I had all my own equipment, same with one other hobby.  Racing always meant travel and dealing with other people.

Still, question remains, how many on here do some kind of hobby involving wood?
