Southern Idaho | We have a Hertz locally and never had a problem, but I think we’ve just been fortunate, do some research and you will hear horror stories about rental car companies, charging customers for damage months after they’ve returned cars, some charging customers with stealing their vehicles, etc. Since COVID they’ve been keeping cars longer in their fleets as well, take lots of pics and video when you pick car up and return. My wife rents a car several times a year for work related trips and never had a issue but sure makes you think of what may be coming, as previously mentioned the major brands are under the same ownership
