| Twenty years ago, when my Dad passed away, i inherited some farmland in eastern Colorado. Nice land, but very dry climate. Started getting offers then from folks who were "kindly disposed" towards "taking this off my hands". They could help me if I was wondering just what to do with this questionable property. Mostly the offers got tossed quickly, and never mentioned any value. Finally I became sufficiently curious so as to respond to one and ask for a firm offer. At length, I got an offer for about a third of what I thought the land was worth.
Now days, I'm getting offers for mineral rights..... especially producing mineral rights. Again, quite undervalued. Then again, I have some mineral rights with two non functional oil wells in place. Maybe I could sell those rights....... hmmmmm. showboat | |
