Subject: RE: Who else feels Labor Day is depressing?

I see Labor Day as the end of summer, the beginning of fall. Dove season opens on first day of September. Cooler nights and the days not as hot ( temperatures in the eighties in September ). Also it beginning of the growing season. Last hay cutting, sowing cover crops. People beginning to shell corn in September. When there was tobacco grown in my area tobacco cutting going on and being hung in barns.

I look at it as the beginning of cooler weather, beautiful colors, and the beginning of a slower pace soon.
