coast of Maine
As a younger man I needed a plan to get away from the coming winter blues.I started to ride snowmobiles again. Was always headed to the first frosty grass field in Sept to ring her out. Then always rode the day after Thanksgiving no matter how far we had to travel.Did this as much as possible for nearly 20 years.Involved the kids some as well. Now that they are all mature adults I no longer sled but the looking forward to the 6 months of suck here by hoping for snow and cold to ride worked. Was super excited when it was below zero as sleds with picks would hook up like mad.Now I look forward to the dull season by going to my winter place in the south,,which by the way costs way less than intense sledding.
