E.Central MN | I feel the same way. All the rain during planting season was just horrible. Got stuff planted, but crops don't look very good, sure hope for a late frost and long Indian Summer. The meadows are so wet that it's been a challenge trying to make any decent hay. Took forever to get a meadow dry enough to cut, and then the ground stayed so wet that it wouldn't dry, kept getting rain when the forecast was supposed to be hot and dry, fields getting rutted up, very demoralizing. Sure hope we don't get a lot of rain at harvest, I'm tired of dealing with mud. | |
